University of Patras- Department of Economics building at the University of Patras

On September 2011, the agreement was signed to award the Scheme Design, Detailed Design and Tender Document Preparation. The Preliminary Design had already been carried out by our team for the relative competition held in 2008. The rest of the collaborating firms are, Betaplan S.A., for the architectural design and Tetras Electromichanologiki S.A., for the E/M design. The Scheme Design was submitted on the 7th November 2011.

Out team won the relevant contest, according to Law 3316/05, having the most profitable proposal. Awaiting for the contract to be signed. The rest of the collaborating firms are, Betaplan S.A., for the architectural design and Nikos Papadopoulos for the E/M design.
7th National Conference on Steel Structures

This took place in Volos, Thessalia, on 29,39 September and 1st October 2011, under the auspices of EEME ( Steel Structures Research Company), in collaboration with the Technical Chamber of Greece and the University of Thessalia.

Our company purchased the programs SAFE (http://www.csihellas.gr/index.asp?mod=articles&id=15 ) and EC PRAXIS 3J (http://www.csihellas.gr/index.asp?mod=articles&id=48) from CSI Hellas. The first is used for structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete floor and foundation systems and is compatible with ETABS . The 2nd performs analysis and design of steel connections according to Eurocode 3 and can also import data from ETABS.

In July, TEMES S.A., taking into account our offer and experience in the hard soil conditions of the area (we participated in the Romanos section), assigned to our company the preparation of the tender documents for the development project in the gulf of Pylos.
After the delivery of the above mentioned studies on the 30th of October 2008, the project will continue to detailed design level, to be completed in May 2008.
3rd Panhellenic Conference on Antiseismic Engineering and Technical Seismology

The conference took place on 05-07 of November 2008 in Athens and was organized by the Greek Department of Antiseismic Engineering, the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Soil Mechanics Lab of the National Technical University of Athens. As already mentioned above, our Office participated in the Tender for the construction of the above mentrioned project with the Design and Build system. AKTOR S.A. was appointed as the main contractor. Our company participated in the 1/3 of the Detailed Design of the complex structural and civil works, which are composed of several buildings and other infrastructure works. (Hotels, conference center, entertainment center, sports center, villas, linking constructions etc.) Among the consulting offices which took part in the realization of the Static and Antiseismic Detailed Design are: DOMI G.P. Consultant Engineers & OLYMPIA PANAGOULI . Our office has completed the Detailed Design we undertook.

6th National Conference on Steel Constructions

Aquisition of the program "STEREOSTATIKA V3.0" from the company "CSI Hellas". It is a stand alone software package for the complete static and dynamic analysis and design of RC structures. It offers the possibility of collaboration with ETABS for the analysis and design of composite and steel structural systems In addition, one more license for "Bentley" and "Research Engineers Int." program, "STAAD-PRO", was purchased.

The approval of the Scheme Design of the superstructure for the preparation of the next phase (Detailed Design of the superstructure) is pending.
