SEISMIC EVALUATION AND RETROFIT OF THE EXISTING SMIC BUILDING FOR ITS TRANFORMATION INTO V.I.P. HOSTELS IN DEKELEIA
- Seismic upgrade design and strengthening of a 5,000m2 building.
- On site identification of the structural system.

The study was abruptly interrupted by the September 1999 earthquake in Athens, during which the building suffered severe damage and had to be demolished before the implementation of the design proposals.
