TRANSFORMATION OF THE "METAXOURGEIO" BUILDING IN ATHENS, INTO A MULTI-PURPOSE CULTURAL FACILITY
The project concerns the transformation of the timber and masonry ex Silk Factory, that was quite recently submitted to structural interventions, in order to be separated into apartments, before being totally abandoned. Our team's task was the transformation of the existing structure into a cultural facility, with the addition of composite floors, total replacement of the roofs and its seismic upgrade.
