Project's Description
Composite project presenting the following main characteristics:
- Temporary retaining up to 12m high, using the bored piles with anchors method.
- Foundation of the structure with 12,5002 plan, using a raft foundation - water tight basin slab, due to the existing high water table.
- The ceilings of the underground spaces are made of concrete slabs without beams, facilitating the E/M installations.
- Outdoor theater with circular stands in an augmenting step radius. The cast stands - arc chords are constructed on composite arched radially placed stand-beams.
- The main building has a novel architectural form (inclinated elevations, inclinated terrace with outdoor features). The project was analyzed as a multi-level spatial structure. Level supporting elements: steel columns, reinforced concrete shear walls and prefabricated vertical elements. The diaphragmatic function of the slabs is not secured, having as a result the dimensioning for the membrane in addition to flexural stresses, especially at the lower levels. Outdoor constructions covering a total area of 13,000 m² with planting loads, artificial ponds, as well as provision for a railroad.
