Project's Description

This is an eight-story residential building with a basement. The basement area is approximately 560m2, while the area of the typical story is 330m2. The top floor accommodates a planted roof garden, with swimming pools and pergolas. Part of the basement roof also sustains swimming pools and planting systems (of 40cm thickness). The building has a characteristic form due to the curved shape of its balconies, at the edge of which, vertical architectural elements of various heights are supported.
The building’s structural system is a combination of reinforced concrete frames and walls. The concrete slabs are formed as sandwich slabs with EPS void-fillers, to limit their self-weight and accordingly reduce the structure’s seismic mass. Similarly, the balconies are also formed as sandwich slabs.
