Helliniki Meletitiki, having an extensive experience in the realization of buildings and civil works, is one of the largest structural engineering consultants in Greece.

National Archaeological Museum

National Archaeological Museum

January, 2026

Archaeological Council and KSNM, the Central Council for Modern Monuments, have approved without comments the preliminary design for the museum upgrade.

The project mainly consists of the structurally independent, partly below ground and below a new public park extension building and the renovation and strengthening of the existing museum complex. Our company is mainly involved in the structural design of the new building, collaborating wh-p Ingenieure. The complex structural framing system of the proposed new structure, spanning up to c. 25m, consists of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, precast concrete, composite and steel elements.

The design team is lead by David Chipperfield Architects, collaborating with Alexandros N. Tombazis and Associates Architects. It comprises numerous international firms, such as Werner Sobek, Wirtz International nv, ATELIER BRÜCKNER and Kardorff Ingenieure Lichtplanung GmbH. The local team is also numerous and includes LDK Consultants, TriPod PC, Edafomichaniki S.A. and Arbitrage Real Estate.

Residential Complex – Park Rise

The construction of the structural framing system of the new multi-storey residential building "Park Rise" at The Ellinikon is at an advanced stage. Our office has prepared the structural design and is also undertaking a high-level supervision of the project’s structural framing system construction. The building will comprise 88 apartments, with approximately a total above-ground area of 16,000 m² and a basement area of 12,000 m², reaching a maximum height of 50 meters. It stands as the most iconic development in the Little Athens–The Ellinikon neighborhood. The architectural design was led by the internationally renowned architectural firm BIG Bjarke Ingels Group.

We are verry happy to hear from the local press the opening of The New campus for the School of Social Studies of the Aegean University ,designed by us. The new buildings will house the Sections of Cultural Technology and Communication, the Section of Social Anthropology as well as the Section of Social Studies. The new modern Library building is also ready and the removal of the books has begun. We have to notice that the supervision of the relative, for each discipline, works was not in our scope. Nevertheless a continuous and coordinated collaboration took place during construction between the Technical Service of the University ,the Supervisor and the Design Team.
